I’m a full member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors. The RGT are the top guitar examining board in the UK, so if you are looking to pass any guitar or theory grades/exams, then I can help you through and enter you into those.Otherwise my lessons can be:
- 121 or small groups,
- RGT grades preliminary to grade 8,
- Beginner to advanced standard,
- Styles, techniques, songs,
- Beginner/Intermediate bass, slide and acoustic techniques,
- Lessons tailored to the individual,
- My home or yours,
- £15 per hour or 4 lessons for £50,
- Free access to client login and online resources.

My name is James, welcome to my website.
I am a guitarist from Sheffield, and I study music at Brighton Institute of Modern Music, part of Sussex University.
I am a well rounded, creative and experienced, reading player of eight years specialising in all varieties of; Blues, Funk, Jazz and Rock. I am available for relevant work of any kind. Please email me if you would like to see my c.v.
Currently, I’m developing as a musician by studying music, teaching guitar/music, playing regularly with the Sussex Jazz Orchestra function band Highway Child, playing in theatre pit bands, as well as recording for Brighton artist 'Guests of Nature.'
