Highway Child, Highway Child are an experienced and versatile Soul and Blues band available for private and public events. They are a seven piece band featuring a horn section and play a repertoire of Blues Brothers and Commitments songs, along with many by Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and James Brown
Sussex Jazz Orchestra, I am the assistant manager and guitarist of The Sussex Jazz Orchestra, which was formed in 1987 and specialises in modern and contemporary jazz, combining adventurous big-band writing with exciting improvised solos. The Sussex Jazz Orchestra comprises some of the finest jazz soloists in the area, in addition to many talented, up-and-coming players.
Bags’ Groove, Bags’ Groove is the Jazz combo that I am part of. It is a four piece band consisting of guitar, double bass, trumpet and tenor sax with the option of a drummer. We play public gigs and functions playing jazz standards, from the likes of George Gershwin, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins and many more.
In Cahoots, In cahoots is a multi-instrument, acoustic roots band from Brighton, on the south coast of England. They draw on a wide range of music – including folk, blues, bluegrass, world, country and rock – to create songs with stories and tunes that dance. In their high-energy live sets they mix their own music with songs and tunes from England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, the USA and France.
